Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man involved in the robbery of a Kedron chemist earlier this week.
Just after 10pm on Monday September 26, the man entered the Gympie Road business and threatened staff members with a large machete.
He stole a sum of cash and packets of medication before fleeing on foot. No one was physically injured during the incident.
Police, including a police dog and handler, attended the scene and tracked the offender to an underground carpark on Bromilow Street and then onto Rodeo Road, however he was not found.
He is described as wearing a black face mask, dark ski goggles, blue disposable gloves, blue tracksuit pants and a black hoodie with an orange Jack Daniel's logo and carrying a grey backpack (pictured).
Anyone in the area who may have information, or relevant CCTV or dashcam vision is urged to contact police. Anonymous reports can be made.
