Detectives from the Redcliffe Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing to the public for information about a shooting in Scarborough on Wednesday (April 22).
Around 2pm a 24-year-old man was involved in a verbal dispute with two men known to him at a Mein Street address.
This escalated into a physical confrontation during which time the man sustained a gunshot wound to the back of his leg.
He was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have CCTV or dash cam vision of a bronze 2003 Holden Commodore sedan bearing Queensland registration plates 876 ZBM which was seen heading in a northern direction to contact them.
