Police are appealing for information following a single-vehicle crash in Coleraine this morning, Victoria Police say.
It’s believed the vehicle was travelling south along the Coleraine-Edenhope Road about 8.30am when the driver has lost control.
The vehicle appears to have crossed on to the opposite side of the road, hit a small gully and flipped.
A passer-by came across the scene and called emergency services.
The driver, an Edenhope man aged in his 80s, was trapped in the vehicle and subsequently airlifted to hospital.
He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the vehicle, a white Holden station-wagon, in the lead up to the incident or the crash itself, to come forward.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
