Police are investigating an incident involving a stolen vehicle in Mount Sheridan yesterday, April 7.
Around 5.45pm, police were called to George Cannon Drive following reports an officer had been injured while conducting duties during a Roadside Drug Test (RDT).
Initial information indicates the driver of the vehicle, a female, initially complied with the direction for a RDT when the officer indicated her driver's licence was disqualified.
She then fled the scene in a grey Toyota Kluger, Queensland registration 838IH6.
During the evasion, an officer was thrown onto the roadway from the vehicle sustaining minor injuries to his arms and legs.
The officer was treated at a medical facility for his injuries.
The vehicle was reported stolen from a Kennedy Creek Road address at Carrachan on Sunday, April 6.
It was located early this morning at a Millaa Milla address.
Investigations are ongoing.
