The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia has today ordered the publication of details to assist in the recovery of Molly Rose NOONAN-MEDLEY, who is currently missing. The AFP and NSW Police are seeking public assistance to help locate the eight-year-old girl, born on 25 September 2016.
Molly is believed to be in the company of her mother Jacki Lynne MEDLEY, also known as Jacqueline and Jackie, aged 50. She was last seen at Woonona, NSW, about 11am on Thursday, 31 October 2024. Since this time, Molly's father, Henry NOONAN has been trying to find his daughter and return her to his care.
The location of Molly and Jacki is unknown. Jacki is known to frequent the Woonona, Wollongong and Huskisson areas.
Molly is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 130-140cm tall with a thin build, blue eyes and blond/brown hair. It is not known what Molly maybe wearing.
A Recovery Order has been issued by the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia authorising all members of the AFP, state and territory police forces, and the marshal of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia to recover the child.
AFP Detective Acting Superintendent Carly Smith said by releasing this information, it was hoped someone in the community would recognise Molly or Jacki and contact the authorities.
"The pain of a missing child is incomparable. We can only imagine the strain this situation is placing on Molly's family and loved ones with Christmas around the corner".
"If you see Molly or Jacki, or have any information on their whereabouts, we urge you to contact Crime Stoppers and help reunite Molly with her family."
"Hiding a child from their families can have adverse effects. These types of actions are inexcusable and can significantly endanger the wellbeing of the children involved."
