Appealing After Hit And Run - Fairfield Heights

Police are appealing for information after a man was hit by a car in Sydney's south west today.

About 8.10pm today (Wednesday 2 October 2024), officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command were called to Station Street, Fairfield Heights, following reports of a crash.

Police arrived to find a pedestrian had been hit by a car.

The driver of the vehicle had left the scene prior to police arrival.

The pedestrian, a man – unknown age, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

The vehicle is described as being a grey/silver sedan with possible damage to the front.

Police have established a crime scene with the assistance of the Crash Investigation Unit and commencing inquiries into the crash.
