Police are investigating an armed robbery and assault in Chermside overnight.
Shortly before 11pm, three men armed with knives, a hammer and a firearm forced entry to a townhouse on Foundation Street.
They threatened the occupants of the home, a 56-year-old man and 31-year-old man, before assaulting them.
The 56-year-old man and 31-year-old man sustained minor injuries.
One of the intruders sustained a laceration to his back during the altercation.
The trio stole a quantity of cash and electronics, before fleeing the scene.
They were located nearby on Rode Road a short time later and were taken into custody.
One of the men was transported to the Royal Brisbane Women and Children's Hospital for treatment.
It is believed the parties were known to each other and there is no threat to public safety.
Investigations are continuing.
