Investigations are underway following an armed robbery at a service station on the states’ mid-north coast yesterday, NSW Police say.
Shortly before 3.30am (Sunday 8 July 2018) several males have entered a business on Wingham Road, Taree and allegedly stole keys to five motor vehicles.
One of the keys belonged to a silver Hyundai i40 hatch, that was stolen and driven to a service station on the Bucketts Way, Krambach.
Shortly before 4am (Sunday 8 July 2018) four men armed with weapons entered a service station on the Bucketts Way through a side window.
Once inside, the armed men allegedly assaulted and threatened a male employee.
The armed men have fled the scene in silver Hyundai i40 hatch with a sum of cash and cigarettes.
Officers from Manning Great Lakes Police District were alerted and commenced investigations.
Police are appealing for any witnesses in relation to the incident to contact Taree Detectives or Crime Stoppers.
