Armed Robbery Investigation, Garnant

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery with violence in Garnant this morning, September 21.

Initial investigations indicate two people broke into a property around 6am reportedly armed with firearms, and disturbed the two occupants who were in the Garnant house, north of Rockhampton, at the time.

The two offenders have threatened the man and woman, and an altercation has broken out between the two groups, where the two residents were assaulted.

The offenders have then stolen a white Nissan Patrol wagon with Queensland registration 841LIN from the home and left the scene.

The man in his 30s and woman in her 20s both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who has any information, or CCTV that could assist with investigations, to come forward.
