Detectives have charged two people following investigations into a series of armed robberies across South Brisbane District on Sunday, February 23.
Just after 12.15am, a break in occurred involving three people at a Calamvale residence, where jewellery and other items were stolen.
At 11.30am on Sunday, the same three males allegedly gained entry into a Sunnybank Hills residence where cash, electronics, and other items were stolen.
They then left the scene in a Toyota Aurion, with number plates which were allegedly stolen from a Springfield Central address around 12am on Sunday.
At approximately 11.50am, it is alleged two males attempted to gain entry into a Heritage Park residence, before being disrupted by a male occupant and leaving the scene in the Toyota.
At 1pm, it will be alleged two males gained unlawful access to a Runcorn residence.
Once inside, it is alleged the males, one armed with a knife and the other a screwdriver, made threats towards three occupants.
It is alleged they then searched the property and stole multiple items including jewellery, electronics, cash and other personal items before leaving in the Toyota.
Following investigations, detectives arrested a 21-year-old man at a Boronia Heights address on February 24, and a 17-year-old at a Logan Central address yesterday, February 26.
A 21-year-old man has been charged with three counts each of robbery armed in company and deprivation of liberty, two counts of enter dwelling and commit, as well as one count each of enter dwelling with intent whilst armed in company, stealing and enter dwelling and commit.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 17.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with three counts each of robbery armed in company and deprivation of liberty, two counts of enter dwelling and commit, as well as one count each of enter dwelling with intent whilst armed in company, attempt enter dwelling with intent, stealing, receiving tainted property and possess dangerous drug.
His bail has been refused and he is due to appear in Brisbane Childrens Court today, February 27.
Investigations are ongoing.
