Armed Robbery: Manunda

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Manunda earlier today, December 28.

Around 6.45am this morning, a group of people armed with tools forced entry to a service station on Koch Street.

The group approached the front counter and the employee, a 22-year-old woman, fled on foot with her personal belongings.

The employee was confronted by the group outside, was assaulted and the group demanded the keys to her personal vehicle.

She has complied and the group stole her silver Hyundai SUV and fled the scene in the vehicle.

The vehicle was later located abandoned on Murray Street, Manunda and seized for examination.

Police are appealing anyone with dashcam or CCTV of the incident to come forward.
