Armadale Detectives have charged a 37 year old man as a result of their investigation into an incident at the Beckenham train station on Sunday 19 February 2017.
A 21 year old man went to the station to meet with two men in relation to the purchase of a vehicle, WA Police say.
It will be alleged the two men threatened the victim before assaulting him. The victim received facial injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance.
The 37 year old man from Forrestfield has been charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery and is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 17 March 2017.
Inquiries are continuing into this incident and anyone with any information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
