A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in Western Australia following an alleged online threat to a religious centre at Edmondson Park in Sydney's southwest.
Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command commenced an investigation after a report on an online threat was made towards a religious centre at Edmondson Park yesterday (Monday 3 March 2025).
The matter was reported to police today.
Following a referral from the New South Wales Police Force to the Western Australia Police Force, just before 5.00pm (Western Australia local time), a 16-year-old boy was arrested at Eaton, in south-west Western Australia. He is currently assisting police with inquiries.
There are no ongoing threats to the community.
