Northern Territory Police have arrested three youths in relation to a stolen motor vehicle that was sighted driving dangerously in Alice Springs early on Sunday morning.
Around 12.30am, the police drone unit sighted a Subaru driving dangerously throughout Alice Springs. The vehicle was later identified as being stolen earlier in the day.
A resolution plan was implemented resulting in the successful deployment of tyre deflation devices 20 minutes after the drone unit sighted the vehicle.
The stolen motor vehicle travelled west on Larapinta Drive and drove through the locked gates into the Alice Springs Desert Park, before travelling to Gillen and coming to a stop in an alleyway on Ashwin Street.
Three male youths aged 12, 12, and 15-years-old were arrested without incident. The two 12-year-olds were conveyed home into the care of a responsible adult, and the 15-year-old was dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act (2005).
