Arson Appeal, Main Beach

Queensland Police have released security camera vision of two men who may be able to assist with their investigations into three arson incidents at Main Beach late last month.

Initial investigations indicate between 11pm and 11.30pm on Saturday December 28, Sunday December 29 and Monday December 30, two men have attended the same Hughes Avenue residence.

On each occasion, an accelerant was used to set fire to the front of the property, as well as a vehicle parked inside the property on December 30, before the pair were seen leaving the scene.

Investigators also believe those involved are linked to a silver Mitsubishi Outlander, used during two of the deliberately lit fires, which was reported stolen from a Brisbane residence on December 24.

Thankfully, nobody was injured during any of the incidents.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with information, or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision of the Tedder Avenue and Hughes Avenue areas between 10pm and 12am on all three dates last month, to contact police.

 Investigations are ongoing.
