Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG) today announced the acquisition of Milne Alexander, with offices in Sydney, New South Wales and Port Lincoln, South Australia. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1973, Milne Alexander is a retail property/casualty broker serving clients across New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. It specializes in the transport, manufacturing and aquaculture industries, and in providing personal accident coverage for the coal mining sector. The Sydney team will relocate to Gallagher's North Sydney office in early 2019, while the Port Lincoln team will remain in its current location. Darren Milne and his associates will continue to operate under the direction of Paul Harvey, Managing Director of Specialisms for Gallagher Australia.
