Global law firm Ashurst advised Babcock International Group PLC in relation to the disposal of its UK civil training business, Babcock Skills Development and Training Limited to Inspirit Capital. The transaction completed on 1 February 2023.
Babcock's civil training business is one of the country's largest training providers across various technical sectors. It delivers apprenticeship training services across retail, hospitality, automotive, active leisure, business and customer service with key clients such as BMW, EDF Energy, Network Rail, VW Group and ASDA.
