Global law firm Ashurst has advised Cheyne Capital on a joint venture with Fusion Group for the acquisition and development of a student accommodation site at Brent Cross Town.
The transaction includes in respect of the establishment of the JVA, financing arrangements and the underlying development documents.
Brent Cross Town is a 180-acre, £8bn mixed-use town development in north London which, when complete, will comprise 6,700 new homes of a variety of tenures, workspace for 25,000 people, schools, a high street, leisure spaces and over 50 acres of parks and playing fields.
The GDV Fusion scheme will deliver approximately 650 student beds and associated amenities.
