Ashurst Appoints Chief Business Development Officer

Global law firm, Ashurst, has appointed Adam Soames as Chief Business Development Officer, effective 4 November. Based in London, Adam will lead the firm's Clients, Markets and Growth function and work closely with Global Clients and Markets Partner, Jamie Ng, to drive the firm's 2027 strategy for business development. 

Adam brings close to 30 years of experience in professional services business development and marketing, as well as wider strategic business transformation and operational management. He joins Ashurst from Hogan Lovells, where he was the Global Head of Business Development & Strategy for nearly 17 years. Adam has also worked with major firms such as Deloitte, PwC and Grant Thornton 

With a proven track record of commercial success in leading strategic transformation programmes to expand client relationships, win new business, and take a sector-driven approach to market, Adam's experience will cement Ashurst's reputation as a firm that clients around the globe come to with their most important business challenges.
