Global law firm Ashurst has appointed Kitty Vo as a partner in the Real Estate team in Sydney, as part of a plan to grow the offering to developer and investor clients.
Kitty's appointment will strengthen the firm's multi-disciplinary offering to its clients and bolster the Real Estate team's ability to support investors across the region.
Kitty has a broad range of experience across all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. She advises on the full life cycle of real estate assets, from acquisitions and divestments, to leases, licences and access arrangements involving commercial, industrial, retail and residential assets. Kitty acts for land owners, occupiers and investors in both the private and public sectors.
Kitty was with Ashurst (previously Blake Dawson) for 14 years. During this time, she spent three years in Tokyo on secondment with Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, and prior to returning to Ashurst, Kitty was a partner at national law firm Hall & Wilcox.
Real Estate Practice Group Head, Australia, Pauline Tan, commented:
"Kitty is a skilled real estate practitioner and she is well-placed to help Ashurst continue to grow our offering to clients across the commercial, industrial, retail and residential sectors. We're delighted to welcome Kitty back to the firm, where she will add bench strength to our busy real estate practice in both Australia and the Asia Pacific region."
