Global law firm Ashurst has advised Vann World on its collaboration with Green Wave Technology GmbH to launch its new hyper advanced oxidation process (HAOP) reactor.
Vann World is a global provider of AOP solutions based on titanium dioxide reactors while Green Wave Technology specialises in biotechnological innovations.
As water treatment faces one of its greatest challenges in the removal of resistant-to-oxidise organic molecules such as pesticides, fertilisers, fungicides and hydrocarbons, among other things, this collaboration paves the way for a new era in water treatment, with the HAOP reactor capable of operating up to 600% faster than traditional titanium dioxide-based AOP units.
The Ashurst team was led by partner Yann Alix.
Commenting on the transaction, lead partner Yann Alix, said: "We are delighted to have supported Vann World on this significant milestone and the progression of such a novel technology."
CEO of Vann World, Vicente M. Picó Puchades, said: "This technology based on nanocrystals co-catalysed has been years in the making as a promising solution to improve and fast track water treatment and I am very grateful to Ashurst and Yann Alix in helping Vann World and Green Wave Technology bring this to fruition and commercialisation today. Ashurst and Yann's understanding of our vision and their continuous support, expertise and professionalism have been invaluable."
