Swan Hill Rural City Council is pleased to announce the completion of asphalting works at Caix Square, Robinvale.
Council's Director Infrastructure, Leah Johnston said this project marks a significant improvement in the area's infrastructure, enhancing the safety and usability of this important community space.
"The newly asphalted surfaces will benefit residents, businesses, and visitors by providing smoother access and a more durable road surface," she said.
Ms Johnston acknowledged that road rehabilitation projects can present challenges, and unforeseen issues may arise during construction.
"In this instance, poor subgrades were encountered, which extended the scope and timeframe for the delivery of this project. This highlights the critical importance of addressing underlying issues to ensure the long-term durability and success of the infrastructure improvements," she explained.
"We are thrilled to have now delivered this improvement for Robinvale. These works are part of Council's ongoing commitment to maintaining and upgrading essential infrastructure across the municipality," Ms Johnston said.
Ms Johnston thanked the Robinvale community for their patience and cooperation during the construction period.
