Detectives from Pine Rivers Child Protection Investigation Branch are appealing to the public for information regarding the assault of a teenage girl in Mount Pleasant on February 14.
Investigations indicate a teenage girl was at a bus stop at the intersection of Mount Pleasant Road and Charles Road around 4.30pm when she was approached by a man not known to her.
The man reportedly grabbed the girl by her hips, but the girl managed to free herself. The man then drove away in a Toyota utility.
The car is described as white Toyota four-door utility with style side tray and a black or grey cover on the tray. The car had a front number plate that was white with green numbers and letters, but no rear plate.
The man is described as Caucasian, bald, round build, grey trimmed beard, hazel or brown eyes, and approximately 60 years of age (as pictured in the comfit image).
Detectives are appealing to anyone with dashcam footage in the vicinity of Mount Pleasant Road and Charles Road between 4pm and 5pm on Friday, February 14 to contact police.
Anyone with information or who recognises the description of the man or the car is also urged to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
