Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault at Rockhampton this morning, October 28.
Initial information indicates at around 9.48am, around five men approached a 70-year-old woman in a Park Avenue shopping centre car park.
The offenders assaulted the woman, before stealing her handbag and driving away in a stolen white BMW.
The woman's injuries to her wrist and forehead were treated on scene by QAS.
Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage to come forward immediately.
Investigations are ongoing.
