The Rockhampton Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing for public assistance to identify two people (pictured) who may be able to assist them with their investigations into two assaults in Park Avenue this morning, February 2.
Police are investigating reports two people were walking through Kershaw Gardens around 4.30am when they approached a man sleeping in a tent in the park, demanded property from him and then physically assaulted him.
They then approached a second man sitting on a park bench, about 100m away, demanded property and physically assaulted him.
Both men received serious injuries.
Detectives are appealing to the people pictured, or anyone who recognises them, to contact police.
Further, anyone who witnessed the incidents or has CCTV footage of the area at the time are also urged to contact police.
