Assault In Southern Parklands

Police are investigating a serious assault that is alleged to have occurred in the Adelaide Parklands yesterday.

About 6.15pm, Sunday 1 September, the victim was walking in the parklands between Goodwood Road and Anzac Highway, when she was assaulted by an unknown man.

The man stole her white coloured jacket and white handbag and was last seen running south towards Greenhill Road.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 35 years of age, bald, with tanned skin. He was wearing a black coloured jacket with a red zip and black pants.

The victim's jacket was later located a short distance away and her handbag was located at the intersection of South Terrace and Sir Lewis Cohen Avenue.
