At least 10 people were killed and 18 more were injured on Friday in a collision of a bus and a truck in the northern Bangladeshi district of Bogra, local media reported.
According to the Bangladeshi bdnews24 news website, the accident took place at 6 a.m. local time (00:00 GMT) and halted traffic on the highway between the city of Bogra and country's capital of Dhaka.
Seven people died at the site of the accident, while three more died in the hospital, the website reported, citing police sources.
The website added that the victims of the accident were sent to hospitals by police officers, rescuers and local residents.
