At least five people were killed and over a dozen were reported missing when a landslide struck in western Colombia, a local Red Cross representative said.
The landslide occurred a few miles outside Quibdo, the capital city of Choco Department in western Colombia.
"A bulldozer was working at the [site of the] landslide and a new avalanche took approximately 15 people and two vehicles [down the mountain]," Cesar Uruena told reporters on Thursday, as quoted by Colombia Reports.
A rescue operation is underway at the site.
