ATA Opens 2025 National Trucking Award Nominations

The Australian Trucking Association has today opened nominations for the prestigious 2025 National Trucking Industry Awards.

The awards honour businesses and individuals who go above and beyond to improve their workplaces and contribute to the trucking industry, which transports everything from breakfast cereal to fuel for your car to giant transformers to keep the power and WiFi on.

Thanks to the ATA's award sponsors, the prizes on offer include cash, a trip to the United States and the respect of all.

"We are lucky to have so many dedicated people and organisations in our industry who keep Australia's trucks moving in the face of challenging cost, resource and regulatory conditions," ATA Chair Mark Parry said.

The National Trucking Industry Award categories that are now open are-

  • Outstanding Contribution to the Australian Trucking Industry, sponsored by ATA Foundation Sponsors bp, NTI and Volvo Trucks
  • National Professional Driver of the Year, sponsored by bp, NTI and Volvo Trucks, and
  • National Trucking Industry Woman of the Year, sponsored by Cummins South Pacific.

Nominations for these awards must be submitted by 11.00pm (Canberra time) on Friday 28 February 2025.

The award winners will be announced on Wednesday 30 April 2025 at the ATA Foundation Sponsors Gala Awards Dinner as part of Trucking Australia 2025 in Adelaide.

The winners of the TruckSafe John Kelly Memorial Award, sponsored by AEI Transport Insurance Brokers, and the Don Watson Memorial Award will also be announced on the night. The winners of these awards will be selected from a range of exceptional people and businesses that do not need to be nominated to be considered.
