By adopting advanced technologies and innovative practices, these companies are enhancing efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and driving economic growth.
Today, René Arseneault, Member of Parliament for Madawaska-Restigouche, announced a Government of Canada investment of $750,000 for Atelier Gérard Beaulieu Inc. (AGB). The announcement was made on behalf of the Honourable Gudie Hutchings, Minister of Rural Economic Development and Minister responsible for ACOA.
This funding will help AGB purchase automated laser cutting equipment to increase cutting speed, reduce energy consumption, and eliminate the use of compressed nitrogen. The new equipment is expected to improve the company's product quality, scale up their production capacity, and create 60 full-time jobs by 2026.
Today's announcement further demonstrates the Government of Canada's commitment to help Canadian businesses develop sustainable solutions and increase productivity, setting the stage for a stronger and more prosperous future.
