Police have charged three people in relation to an attempted burglary and dangerous driving incident on the Gold Coast yesterday, May 3.
It is alleged that just after 3:15pm, three males attempted to gain entry to a Ningaloo Drive, Pimpama address, before being disturbed by a neighbour and fleeing the scene in a black Holden Commodore.
The vehicle was spotted by patrolling police a short time later on Celestial Way, Coomera, and tracked for some time before the successful deployment of a tyre deflation device at Pimpama.
Officers continued to track the vehicle travelling southbound on the Pacific Motorway before stopping near Oxenford.
All three offenders left the vehicle on foot, with one offender arrested in the backyard of a nearby property and two arrested in a nearby park.
A 16-year-old Kingston boy has been charged with Enter Dwelling and commit, receiving tainted property, Attempted Enter dwelling with intent in company, Evasion offence in company, Dangerous operation of a vehicle and unlicenced driving.
He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Southport Children's Court today, May 4.
A 25-year-old Kingston man and 19-year-old Marsden man have both been charged with one count each of Enter Dwelling and commit, receiving tainted property and attempted enter dwelling with intent in company.

Police will allege the group is also linked to two other burglaries in the Gold Coast area, one at Ormeau Hills earlier that day and one at Upper Coomera on April 19.
Investigations into all of these incidents are ongoing.
