Police are investigating following an attempted burglary with violence in Maryborough overnight, August 30.
Just before 8pm, a group of people attended a Jupiter Street address and gained entry into a black Honda Civic before leaving in the vehicle.
The group returned to the address in the stolen vehicle around 11.30pm, armed with a firearm and attempted to gain entry.
During the incident, a firearm was discharged at the residence and a 32-year-old man sustained a wound to his foot. He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The group left the scene in the stolen Honda prior to police arrival.
Investigations remain ongoing.
