Attempted Murder Appeal, Tallebudgera Valley

Police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries into the attempted murder of a man in Tallebudgera Valley yesterday, February 6.

Initial investigations indicate the victim approached a man after finding him on his property, the man then presented a firearm and shot the victim.

The man has then left the scene by foot in an unknown direction.

Emergency crews were called, and the 59-year-old victim was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The man police would like to speak to is described as Caucasian, aged in his 50s, facial hair, untidy hair, appears skinny looking in the face with yellow-coloured teeth.

At time of offence was wearing work shorts, flannel type shirt, dark coloured slouch hat, tan work boots.

Anyone who has seen this man, or who has any information that can assist investigations, is urged to contact police.
