A man is assisting police with their investigations following an incident in Kingston this morning.
Around 7:45 am, police and emergency services were called to a home on Kingston Court, where a woman aged in her 30's, was located with burns to her body.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious condition.
A 36-year-old man has been taken into custody and is assisting police with their inquiries.
A crime scene was established and detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have commenced investigations.
Police have established secondary crime scenes at Gould Adams Park on Kingston Road and the Kingston Train Station.
Investigations are continuing.
