While social challenges are not unique to the regions, the solutions must be relevant to the specific place, and those who are key to finding those solutions are invited to apply for a scholarship.
Kempsey Shire Council is offering three scholarships for community members to attend the Social Impact in the Regions conference which will take place from 4 - 6 September 2024 for free.
The Social Impact in the Regions conference explores a range of tools, techniques, beliefs, and practices to empower attendees to create more impact in their regional communities.
In 2023, the inaugural Social Impact in the Regions conference was held in Coffs Harbour, NSW, with 165 attendees from across Australia, representing not-for-profits, Aboriginal corporations, community groups, government, and philanthropy.
With a theme of Accelerate & Amplify Your Impact in Regional Australia, the 2024 conference will be held in Kempsey, NSW.
