A South Australian couple experienced a life-altering moment amidst their usual morning routine today when they learned they had won a whopping $8 million in last night's Oz Lotto draw.
The hardworking family, living locally in Prospect, Adelaide, held the only division one winning ticket nationally by matching all seven numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1589 on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, taking home the entire jackpot.
“Oh my god! That’s insane!” the stunned husband cheered when a lotto official called.
“Wowee! That’s just crazy talk!
“I saw I had a few missed calls from you, and when I listened to your voicemail, I thought to myself, ‘There’s no way someone from The Lott has called me for no reason. There must be good news coming’.
“My wife and I have been working incredibly hard for years now and this amount is going to completely change our lives.
