Daisy Arrowsmith and Nikita Fazzari were the goalscorers for Australia. Fazzari finished the tournament as Australia's top scorer, with six goals across the four games.

The match was an incredibly even affair throughout. Katrina Guillou in particular was creating opportunities for the Philippines, keeping both Australian goalkeepers Sarah Easthope and Jessica McLean busy.

Australia were the team to break the deadlock in the seventh minute. The ball came out to Daisy Arrowsmith as the Philippines tried to clear. She took one touch, lined up the goal, and rifled it into the back of the net to give Australia the lead.

The Philippines got a deserved equalizer right on the stroke of half-time. Isabella Flanigan put a teasing ball in that took a cruel deflection off Halle Smit and past Easthope in goal. It meant that the score was 1-1 at half-time, reflective of an even first 20 minutes of play.

However, it was only moments after the break that Australia seized control of the game once again. Claudia Fruscalzo found Nikkita Fazzari at the back post, and as she has done so often this tournament, Fazzari made no mistake.

Both teams continued to have chances. One of the best came for the Philippines in the 31st minute, requiring a smart save from Easthope to deny Guillou from close range.

However, Australia would hold on. The score remained at 2-1 and the Australian Women's Futsal National Team ended their first ever qualification tournament with four wins from four.

Match Summary

Australia: 2 (Arrowsmith 7', Fazzari 21')

Philippines: 1 (OG 20')
