Creative Australia has announced the recipients of an innovative matched funding initiative, offered through the Australian Cultural Fund (ACF).
The latest investment of close to half a million dollars ($494,880) through the ACF Boost program will support 86 creative projects with outcomes across literature, performing arts, music, visual arts, film, and design.
The initiative provides a boost for independent artists, groups and small organisations who run fundraising campaigns through the ACF - a free platform set up for Australian artists to encourage donations to the arts.
This is the first announcement of ACF Boost outcomes since the ACF joined Creative Australia's expanded remit under the National Cultural Policy Revive.
Director of Private Partnerships and Impact Jayne Lovelock said:
"Since its establishment in 2013, the ACF has helped to raise millions of dollars for Australian artists, allowing them to share their stories, passion, and creativity around Australia and the world. We are delighted to be able to continue to connect art lovers and supporters as part of Creative Australia."
