Australia Day brings people together from all walks of life to celebrate what being Australian means to them. It's a great chance to enjoy some summer fun - from barbecues and beach parties, to live music performances and community events.
To help facilitate the fun, the City of Casey will be supporting two Australia Day events in 2023: one in Tooradin and one in Hampton Park.
The Tooradin event, hosted by the Tooradin Foreshore Committee, will take place from 4 pm to 10 pm at Sawtells Inlet and will feature a movie night.
The Hampton Park event, organised by the Hampton Park Progress Association, will be held from 9 am to 12 pm at Arthur Wren Hall.
Note that, while we support these community-run events, the City of Casey does not host any public Australia Day events, although will also host a Citizenship Ceremony on Australia Day at Bunjil Place in Narre Warren.
