Dept of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications

Flight Drone SkyShow will return to Canberra this Australia Day weekend for a series of shows to reflect, respect and celebrate the ever-evolving story of our nation.

After taking out the Major Festival and Events Award at this year's Canberra Region Tourism Awards, the unparalleled spectacle of 600 drones soaring over the lake will be back.

Canberrans and visitors to the National Capital are invited to join family and friends on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin for free shows, from 24 to 26 January.

There will be breathtaking displays of Australian native flora, fauna and history laid out on the canvas of the night sky.

The best viewing locations will be at Commonwealth Place and Regatta Point, where an array of food, live music and roving performers will be on offer.

Internationally recognised event company, AGB Creative is returning to deliver Flight Drone SkyShow2025, which has been made possible through the support of the National Capital Authority and the National Australia Day Council.
