If you live in New South Wales, you are likely of those who missed out on millions of dollars on Sunday October 9 as Stay and Parents NSW vouchers expired.
5x $50 vouchers called Parents NSW vouchers were given to parents and carers with school-aged kids in February 2022 as a way of saying "thanks" for homeschooling them during the pandemic. Every adult in NSW was also given a $50 voucher called Stay NSW voucher to use towards the cost of accommodation bookings at participating NSW businesses.
Both types of vouchers expired on October 9 with all unredeemed vouchers forfeited.
It is not clear at this stage if there will be any decision to extend the validity of the expired vouchers.
