Ambulance Victoria (AV) has been recognised for its innovative technology at the 2024 Council of Ambulance Authorities (CAA) Awards for Excellence.
AV won the Excellence in Technology award for the FOCUS Analytical Dashboards which provides actionable insights across the organisation.
The dashboards were created with a commitment to transparency and combines cutting-edge technology with user-friendly interfaces – offering an easier and more intuitive platform to interpret complex data.
It uses simple visualisations such as charts, graphs and interactive elements to simplify data and empowers AV staff to have a better understanding of performance metrics and indicators.
This is instrumental for managers as it enables data led decision making.
The FOCUS Analytical Dashboards are one example of AV's commitment to innovation to help us stay ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving health landscape.
The award was presented during the Gala dinner on 15 August as part of the annual CAA Congress at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Winners of the award categories are selected by an independent panel of industry experts, showcasing the remarkable dedication and ingenuity of ambulance professionals in the region.
