Baby Critical After Deer Park Collision

Six people have been injured following a head-on collision in Deer Park early this morning.

Two vehicles collided on Station Road, near Tulloch Street, about 12.20am.

Six people, three adults and three children, from one vehicle were all taken to hospital.

One baby sustained life-threatening injuries, while a second baby and another young child sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

All three adults sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The uninjured driver of the second vehicle, a 22-year-old Niddrie man, was arrested at the scene.

He is expected to be interviewed in relation to dangerous driving causing serious injury.
