More than a thousand artists will pursue their unique creative ventures and test new ideas, thanks to the City of Melbourne's Annual Arts Grants program.
Council has allocated more than $1 million for 94 arts projects taking place in 2023, supporting creatives and strengthening Melbourne's economic and creative recovery.
Grants of up to $20,000 are available to artists and small art organisations across three categories: Arts Projects, Aboriginal Arts Projects and general Arts Residencies.
The program provides financial or in-kind support needed to develop and deliver projects within the municipality.

- Oceanic Feeling by Elena Betros López - a moving image project looking at the Southern Ocean as a place of resilience and fecundity in the face of global warming and climate change.
