Barossa Mayor Bim Lange is thrilled about the return of the 2024 Santos Tour Down Under, saying the Barossa will welcome not one Stage, but two.
"We know from experience Tanunda will roll out the welcome mat for the Ziptrak Men's Stage 1 from Tanunda to Tanunda, which features three local loops and offers some great vantage points at Seppeltsfield, Greenock, Nuriootpa, Angaston and Mengler's Hill," he said.
"The Men's Stage 3 race also features plenty of Barossa action as riders tackle Lyndoch, Williamstown and Sandy Creek in the south as well as Mount Pleasant and Springton.
"This is another great opportunity to put the Barossa on the world stage, and we couldn't be happier Race Director Stuart O'Grady has yet again recognised our capacity for hosting this major international event."
The Santos Tour Down Under is taking place in Adelaide and regional South Australia from 12-21 January 2024. It will feature nine days of elite racing for men and women.
