Bass Coast Council Applauds Cape Paterson Road Safety Efforts

Bass Coast Shire Council is preparing a "Local Area Traffic Management Plan" for Cape Paterson to understand and better improve traffic throughout the town.

Council is seeking feedback about people's experiences of transport and road safety in Cape Paterson. This consultation is open from the 13th June to 4th July 2024.

The "Local Area Traffic Management Plan" for Cape Paterson seeks to understand and recommend improvements to make it easier and safer to get around the township. This will be done by reviewing existing conditions, evaluating traffic, parking and crash data and considering feedback from the community to determine trends and priority changes.

We want to hear from all road users including drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, people using mobility devices and commercial vehicle operators.

Please contact Council directly by email or phone if you would prefer to provide feedback in hard copy, in person or by email.

Following stage one consultation, we'll consider all the feedback alongside the other information we've gathered and come back to the community in August to continue the conversation.

To provide your feedback, please visit the Engage.basscoast.vic.gov.au website.
