Bayside Care Hosts Christmas Tree Celebration

Last week we partnered with Brighton Rotary Club to host a wonderful special end-of-year celebration for some of our Black Rock Activity Centre (BRAC) members.

Our four community buses transported over 60 older residents from their homes to the venue, where they enjoyed a delicious two-course lunch and entertainment by Beau Kaa which quickly led to a full dance floor of groovers and shakers.

We were there to capture the day on camera, so you could watch everyone having a holly jolly good time.

Thanks to Brighton Rotary Club and all the staff and volunteers who made this special event possible.

Black Rock Activity Centre and weekly outings

BRAC offers older residents the opportunity to come together for a social day full of interesting activities and lunch at our Black Rock centre. With different activities to suit a range of abilities, we also offer a transport service to collect and return you from your home.

Each week we also offer day outings to locations throughout Melbourne. The community bus will collect you from your home and return you home at the end of the outing. Outings include lunch and staff are available to assist with any requests. You will enjoy many happy memories with friends and visit wonderful destinations such as the Yarra Valley, Healesville Sanctuary and the Mulgrave Country Club. We welcome suggestions on locations you would like to visit on our outings.
