Bayside Council's Ramadan at Bayside was a great success that attracted more than 2,000 people to Walz street during the evening to enjoy the rich food, culture and traditions of this annual event.
Existing businesses in Walz street made the most of the opportunity to open late, while an additional 15 food trucks and stalls helped provide an assortment of tempting dishes.
For many it was the perfect meeting place to break their fast with family and friends. While for others it was their first time experiencing the tradition of Ramadan.
Ramadan at Bayside was first held in 2019 and has become one of Bayside Council's signature events with people of all ages and from all backgrounds enjoying the evening.
