The dates have been confirmed for one of the Territory's biggest events, with the betr Darwin Triple Crown Supercars Indigenous Round set to race into the Top End's famous Hidden Valley Raceway from 20-22 June 2025.
As the official Supercars Indigenous Round, the 2025 Darwin Triple Crown creates opportunities for Indigenous Australians and will again celebrate and showcase Indigenous culture and the Larrakia land on which the event takes place.
It follows another bumper year in 2024, with more than 40,000 attendances recorded across the event. Independent research shows the 2024 event generated a total expenditure stimulus in the Northern Territory of $26.62 million, of which $21.41 million was new money to the Territory.
The 2024 event was a massive driver for tourism, with almost 36 per cent of those who attended travelling from interstate. The event generated 75,719 visitor nights across the Territory, and the satisfaction rate of those who attended was 7.8 out of 10, with more than 40 per cent of attendees providing a rating of 9 or 10 out of 10.
Importantly, 88 per cent of Territorians surveyed agreed or strongly agreed the Darwin Triple Crown has a positive impact on the Darwin community, while 70 per cent of Territorian attendees agreed the event made them proud to be a Territorian.
