Last night saw Beyonce kick off her hotly-anticipated Formation world tour, performing tracks from her surprise new album Lemonade as well as paying tribute to Prince and honouring her 'beautiful' husband Jay Z, Gigwise reports.
Queen Bey rolled into Marlins Park in Miami Florida for the opening night of the tour, stunning fans with a tightly-choreographed 35 song, career-spanning set - that showcased a number of tracks from this week's surprise new record, Lemonade.
From Lemonade, she gave the live debut to the likes of 'Hold Up', 'Freedom', 'Sorry', 'Don't Hurt Yourself', 'All Night' and 'Daddy Lessons'.
Despite rumours of Beyonce and husband Jay z's marriage on the rocks and reports that Lemonade deals with his infidelity and cheating on her, she ended the night by dedicating closing song 'Halo' to him, saying: "I wanna dedicate this song to my beautiful husband. I love you so much'.
She also performed a cover of Prince's 'Purple Rain', in tribute to his Royal Badness.
